The Ex-Vice President Makes n Statement About Them.

J. L. Warner, ex-vice-jjresident of the 0. K. Mining Company, has made a Btatement of its affairs to the iioaaland Nfinor, from which the following extracts are taken :

"It lias been stated that atock has been sold on my statement na to the amount of ore tho mine had ' in sight.' That is so, and is the usual and proper manner in ollering stock for development. The calculations were madeiijiou interior ground blocked out on three sides, enabling the volumn of ground to be estimated, and from the results of milling the ore from these workings and the smelter shipments, I computed, by metliods always adopted by mining engineers, the value of the reserve of ore. These eatimatea were considered cni-rect and believed to be so by me at the time and liefore we rained the blocked-out ground. We would most certainly have accepted offers of $150,000 cash and
